ASL-LEX Morphemes
The open source sign dictionary ASL-LEX contains 2,723 signs, divided into up to 6 morphemes. Here are listed all possible configurations of the hand that could be found in these morphemes.
ASL-LEX also provides a list of hand translation keys, which can be found in the table below. "Thumb Contact" is not originally included there. Therefore, we decided to add this getValue() as an optional field, since we think it is relevant for the hand shape of a gesture. You can add the field using the button on the right side of the related key.
By clicking on the plus button behind the column name, you can group the rows by this value. If you click on the column name itself, the table will be sorted by this value.
